I saw this docking station supported a dual monitor and thought i could use the hdmi cables which came with the monitors and plug both of them into the docking station

When i read the instructions it seemed to indicate that you could not have two displays on apple macbooks

Sure enough if i plugged both hdmi cables into the docking station only one of the monitors was detected by my macbook

I tried to go back to using the usbc to display port cable but plugging it into the docking station didnt work

So i still have to plug one monitor into the macbook pro usbc port and one monitor into the docking station

I do not have a display port to display port cable to see if i can plug the second monitor into the display port on the docking station but i suspect that will not work either
