Note if you plan to take advantage of the second hdmi connection it will only mirror the first signal ie you cannot run two separate monitors

I do not have a thunderbolt connection capable monitor so i cannot verify if you could use one of the other ports to accomplish a two monitor condition

What i will say is that most of the other multiport docking stations ive used tended to heat up under normal use

For example if you connect something to the slower usb 2 connections you will effectively limit the speed of the faster usb 3 and usbc connections
