Pros
Extender allows you to utilise the camera's 4k/60fps functionality to it's full potential. Works well with imac pro and hub.
Braided cable seems to be nice quality. It seems sturdy w/o being overly rigid. Very durable and good quality cable.
There were two motivating factors behind my purchase of this cable. It does the job as said by the vendor. No issues whatsoever.
Cons
When using this extender - only monitor functions - other devices are not recognized (with some connecting and disconnecting). The charging rate is unaffected but the video and ethernet kept dropping out. The hub is now dead.

Video quality is still amazing thanks to this cable and i'm still a very happy customer!
Cable quality is superb and it works just as it should, no problem on speedy data transfer.
Comes with a 1 year warranty further extended to lifetime by registering the product.
With the 3m extension, ampere registered a max charge rate of 1060ma.
Price
I bought this cable extension to use with my huion pen display as the usb-c 3-1 cable provided by huion isn't long enough for me.
Competitiveness
Works perfectly well supporting 80w charge with a mag safe charger adapter.
I have a webcam which streams in 1080p at 60fps which is a very demanding piece of hardware.

This lead was a replacement for another lead i had bought from amazon which was a different brand and had to send back as it was useless

One issue is i got this as an extension for a headset and it makes the mic crackly

Reading the enclosed instruction note is important when using older style usb connectors that are one sided if they dont work you simply flip the usb c plug that goes into the laptop

Then i found a slip in the box that says if it isnt working with things like a usb cable mint wasnt working with an sd card reader that it needs to be a certain way around

I got mine back out of the returns box and tried it both ways and it only actually worked one way

I had to do the suggested cable rotation to get it to readwrite usb sticks after doing that the usb sticks are there
