When they are connected, the monitor connectivity issue gets even worse. It fails to reliably connect my macbook to an ultrawide monitor. This makes integrating the monitor into my work environment very difficult.

I bought one of these from best buy years ago and this one is a lot better.

I went to the apple store and all they had was something very similar to this but almost three times the cost.

I had to return two other brands of adapter/hub each claiming their hdmi worked with ipad pro.
