The size is compact and portable, and it's no frills, but effective. It’s very lightweight and small so excellent for just throwing in a purse or laptop bag. Works flawlessly after some tweaks to windows 10.
The usb-c head connects firmly to the port. It offers multiple ports without overheating. You can plug it in on the up or down without damaging anything. It has three usb type a ports and one usb type c port.

Usb-c device has to be compatible with 10gbps or 20gbps (tb1) limitations of your port as well as the lower power available for the older ports. I now have to copy over 8gb of data and checksum it to see if it is recoverable without being corrupted.

Quality is great, however i purchased to run 4 external hd.
The cable is a bit short and quality is good but not great.

The only real downside is that the price seems a bit too high.
Called to find out what the cost would be to run a 3440x1340 resolution monitor from my laptop.
It functions as it should, but for what the cost is i thought it would have a metal body.
Just think the price is alittle high.

I believe this thing is over priced but it is the only one i could find that had the charging port and a reasonable offering for expansion of usb and usbc

With the proliferation of bluetooth which draws more battery power from your devices so i dont like manufacturers have started to only install 12 usb ports
