Pros
This works perfectly with chromecast with google tv. This is a great way to extend your google chrome cast tv for memory and network cable. You can also use it to add more storage to your google chrome cast tv.
Pd allows 87 watts to my computer and the additional 3 usb ports are quick and allow stable data transfer. Metal case helps it run cooler. Nice portable and cheaper solution to alternating $500 thunderbolts docking to go.
Cons
Cheap, not tested properly (product description says its compatible) in the middle of the transfer, it just freezes and stops with nothing transferred. Usb ports seem to be oddly shaped so you need to push and wiggle to insert. Not intended for use wi... Read More
Video seems fine - ethernet fails - usb ports fail. Once reconnected it works for a few hours - then repeat. Less than 3 months for a very lightly used product such as this one is unacceptable.

The hub feels solid and durable and the type c cord is thick to add longevity.
Great product, everything port was working and it is very easy to use.
The plastic started coming off after three days of use.
Now have a dell lattitude 5420 and having problems with usb ports not being found(mouse doesn’t work) and warning about slow charging.
Price
Great value for a usb type c hub.
They work well and are an inexpensive solution.
Anyways, i kind of expecting this type of issues for the price i paid.

It arrived very fast and i was pleased to get it working so quickly.
Got what i asked for in a timely fashion.
Competitiveness
Have another brand usb hub and it doesn’t have these same issues with the dell laptop.
I find a wired ethernet connection seems to make the chromecast slightly faster and more responsive.

This hub did not come with its own power supply unfortunately and the one that came with the ccwgtv wasnt sufficient

I ended up using the 34rapid charger34 power supply that came with my pixel phone

The macbook can “see” the network device but always reports “cable not connected” for some reason
