Possibly the reason it is so flimsy is that it is so wide so it is not securely attached.
Even though it matches my computer perfectly, i'm afraid to use it because it feels like the usb-c prongs on the item may break off.

I use it all the time for mice and other things as thec changes weve got usb usbc various blue tooth wifi etc
