Not stable with our audio capture apps on android either. Just hissing. All the trouble stopped when i unplugged the adapter, so sadly, i can't use it.

It does not work with mics with the iphone style combined ear phone and mic jacks, but does work with standard earphone and mic jacks.
Price
I thought i would need a dac to power my new headset, but this saved me 100+ dollars by not having to buy one.

Sometimes and i do believe this is the app and not the unit i will get a full loop from the input to the headphones back into the inpot but unplugging the unit from the phone and both connectors from the device and then plugging the unit back into my phone headphones next add microphone last and that fixes the problem every time

My pixel phone didnt recognize the microphone immediately when i connected my piano output using this microphone

It would be a 5start rating if all worked just by inserting the usbc with all preconnected wires to my phone
