It has all of the technical features one could ask braided cable, gold-plated contacts, aluminum housing on ends. The connectors at each end of the cable are solid and the connections of the able to the connectors is solid. These are not expensive.
It works flawlessly, with a great picture and no flicker. It works as specified, and the build quality is just impressive. My g14 has 120hz and i don't see a huge difference with 144hz but its a huge improvement.
Cons
If i change the settings to 30 hertz, then the flicker changes to intermittent. Still nothing, not even a tiny screen flicker on the monitor.
Use these cables and nothing, nada, dead monitors. I have a usb c to hdmi dock and that works fine with this same system but it does not output to 1440p. Alas, no cable was detected and no image was displayed on the monitor.
