I have a 32 dell qhd monitor that i have been using with an hp laptop that has a full size display port output.
I have a late 2016 touchbar macbook pro with the lg 5k ultrafine monitor (connected via thunderbolt3) and a 1440p dell displayport monitor.
I got full use of my shimian at 1440p 60hz monitor for desktop and 3d gaming.

This adapter works with this configuration but the displayport adapter must be plugged in before the lg monitor or it wont show up

I also have an hp envy 360x 13z laptop that i would also like to use with this display but it only has a usbc output that can be used with an external monitor

My experience is as follows with a dell inspirion 13 2 in 1 7th gen i7 intel hd 620 connected to a dual link dvi shimian monitor at 1440p and an acer 1080p monitor
