This product delivers that performance without question. I am a ccie who works 100% remote and on teams meetings daily/hourly. Extremely pleased with the transfer speed.
These are useful for modern laptops that don't have an rj45 plug built in. Works with my hp laptop but doesn't lock my rj=45 plug.

Cons
When i connect this dongle it brings my wifi down. Sometimes disabled the network adapter/device, and up to a 10-minute reboot to restore service. This laptop has only one usb port and no ethernet.
Same issue. Very unreliable. Bummed, returning it and will try a different brand. Maybe this unit is defective.
The product works fine if it works. This one is just a variant of what i have and it dose not work. Didnt work out of box. Apparently it works great for some users but not for me.

I dont need the extra usb ports so i did not try using them they seem like a freebie option because there are models without the usb ports that cost more than this one with the extra ports

This was the best priced usbc ethernet adapter i could find and it worked fine at first but after a few weeks i decided to use it with my laptop which lacks an ethernet port to run a plex server

I noticed that the plex server would intermittently drop out and then realized that the laptop was losing internet connection when this happened

I spent a lot of time fiddling with my firewall and network settings thinking there must be a problem somewhere because resetting the adapter or restarting the computer solved the problem each time

Bottom line this works in a pinch but dont expect a reliable stable network connection

Edit so i contacted the seller and they responded within a couple of days and recommended that i download the realtek gigabit driver from the realtek website rather than using windows update
