Its longer than most cables you will find on the more expensive and functional combined usbasd cardhdmi dongles which is very handy for placement the dongles would tend to hang from my surface go for example this is not the case with this adapter

For the price its a really good bit of kit that will let you use external monitorstv displays and if you have a compatible samsung phone it works with dex which really extends the functionality of your mobile into a cut down pc

This adaptor now allows me to connect to the current hdmi cable attached to our large display screen and then connect via usbc which is thankfully becoming the norm now for a lot of tech
