In our case the nintendo switch itself usb c port wasn't switching over to 15v after a lightning storm only charging at the 5v.

The reason why is because it transfers to tv at 5v instead of 15v like the original switch power adapter for the dock

So before you go out and spend 100 to fix your switch usb c port try this first like us

This is going to be used on trips and taking the switch over to a friends house and should work perfectly without having to unplug the whole standard dock any time i want to use it elsewhere
