Pros

Super durable cable, seems essentially indestructible. It still is fairly flexible, but the heft does make it have a little higher bend radius. Anker is a brand i buy without hesitation because they are always top quality.

The 6’ is perfect for that charger plugged in behind the couch. Perfect length for going from my car outlet to my dashboard phone holder. It’s a great length to use to recharge some of my lightning devices with my macbook.

Build is much nicer than the 2nd generation cable. Both the lightning end and usb-c ends appear to be securely attached. Being short, it suits my needs quite nicely.

Cons

Anker's powerline, powerline ii, and powerline iii flow products are all far more durable than these. After several months of use the lightning connector inexplicably becomes loose and does not charge my phone any more. To make matters worse my iphone... Read More

The way the port is built doesn't allow for the thing you plug in to keep a constant connection with something in the airpod charging hole.

Competitiveness

Like how it is short so i can use it with a power-bank or charging something

They are durable, well-priced, and have taken a beating.

I’m not sure about the other airpods though.
