Regrettably it is now too late to return these things. Quite disappointing for a product with such high reviews. I have another pack of similar ones that worked flawlessly.

These do charge the phone from a computer usb at a slower rate whilst transfering data as per usual though

They arent bulky at all and fit firmly to the micro usb the plastic surround on the adapter is shaped so prevents incorrect connection
