I used to carry a much more versatile adapter including usb usbc lan aux and sd card but then found that it is way too bulky and all i need is vga and hdmi

I will tell you this plug the hdmi into the adapter first then plug it into your phone

Dont plug it into your phone first then plug in the hdmi because it acts flakey
