I though that was slow for a usb 3.
Competitiveness
This large drive has a nice stury case.
Speed:this has a excellent 100mb/s read speed and a write speed of 50mb/scase and cover.
The move speed usb flash drive took 4 minutes to write a 5gb video file.
I tested the write speed and it came out to about 10ish min to copy a 12gb video file, i tend to ignore speed cuz it jumps all over.

The cover is effective at keeping dust out of the connector but doesnt waterproof the connection

The lid is attached which means it cant be lost and it does close automatically by a small magnet seen in picture 2

First of the design while cool and sleek depending on your connection space it might not fit
