You can adjust the gain of the microphone using the turn knob on the base you can also muteunmute the mic if you quickly press down on the knob ad if you hold down on it for three seconds it turns the light on and off

The microphone can be tilted up or down to achieve the right height

Comes with a sponge you can place over it but i am not sure why you would want to as it sounds fine without and looks silly when it is on

I had a very annoying experience with this microphone i tried in many ways to make this little device work and i couldnt no matter what i did

It was supposed to connect the device to the computer and it would work automatically without having to install any extra software

Unfortunately this was not my case i tried several days to make this work for at least a week until i gave up and was planning to send it back
