Pros & Cons
Pros
This is one of the nicer usb hubs i've had in a while. Only tiny complaint i have is the hub is so small and light that it is difficult to get it to stay in a fixed position. The photo shows the unit on my kitchen counter.
Nice textured black finish. Hefty, seems substantial, well made. Power supply and hub are both very sturdy and built well.
The usb connection to the pc is right next to the power adapter input. It is nice and streamlined, taking up a lot less space on the desk. The only drawback is that it's very lightweight, so when you start to have quite a few devices plugged in, you'l... Read More
Six ports is overkill for me, but you never know when that many might come in handy. This is especially useful as many newer electronics use a usb port instead of a traditional three-prong adapter. Since my main use for this item is as the ubs port, i... Read More
This charger allows me to circumvent using a surge protector. I don't have a full time socket to give up for this beyond testing that it does in fact work.
Cons
Hub splitter is a simple piece of equipment but the ports are not recognized by my imac. Instructions are tiny and hard to read. The throughput of this hub is absolutely horrendous. Both during transfers and when sitting idle causing many file corrupt... Read More

I've had it repaired once under warranty for this, but the replacement only lasted about a year before it stopped working at 1gbps.

Price
Not a bad price and works really well!
The aiibe powered usb hub is very affordable, so it's a great value for the money.
For the price, it was worth it for may sanity.
I was unsure if the price was fair at first, but it definitely is more than fair.
Packaging/appearance
The monitor came with a usb type c to usb a adapter, so i've been trying to use a hub plugged into that.
Don't let the simple packaging and the clever hello on the manual fool you!
In the box is the usb hub, a usb 3-a to usb 3-a connection cable, a power adapter for the charging ports and a brief manual.
Competitiveness
Definitely a 5 stars product just for proper power output but with other bonuses compared to the competition.

I only use the power adapter and all eight ports have power with the adapter so they can all charge things too but at a lower rate on six and two of the ports have the higher charging capacity

When used only as an extender for my chromebook then only the usb cable is needed

The limitation of this hub is that it does require a plugin power cord but thats the tradeoff for so many ports
