I found the best way to secure the lights was not to stretch them tight but to add adhesive every few inches and leave some wiggle room between the taped spots i bought the strip of light for a homemade light box and they work great
I kind of suspect the heat of the light is causing something to expandcontract as the lights are turned on and off
