Pros

Bulletproof reliability. This is a small nuisance, but i figure it's worth mentioning.

Does not heat up excessively when in use. Worked instantly. After doing so, it works like a charms. Works like a charm.

Cons

Customer support is * and doesn't really assist you as well as doing what they say doesn't work, kinda like their products. My next call - i was disconnected. If you have a windows machine it will work occasionally, which it does well when it works.

It videos look like they are missing every second frame or more. Tried to modify the screen settings. Extreme sluggishness when using 2 external monitors on mac2.

Recommend purchase and worth the extra cost

A little expensive but great quality product.

It pained me to spend 65 + 5 tax on a dongle to merely connect my monitors, but i’m glad i did.

I know there has to be a pretty decent profit margin on this dongle lol.

What youve been looking fori tried a couple adapters and hdmi to usb c cables for a dock that didnt work.

Competitiveness

I tried several other brands that were cheaper and they did not work at all.

Although the price is higher than other products, it is a reassuring choice.

However, it does work with macos mojave, and likely newer os versions.
