    So i didnt know i had to install the driver that was on the device itself

    A lot of times windows pops up when it senses a peripheral and says its looking for the drivers for accessories but did not

    Also the device did not automatically pop up with files showing so i didnt even realized there were files on the adapter that i could access that needed to be installed

    Also i am never thrilled when devices as to disable virus protective software prior to installing but that is pretty much the norm with a lot of stuff
