Straight out of the package plugged into usb port on tablet and within 45 seconds had an image on the screen

Worked so well i had to knock my resolution down to 1920x1080 in order for it to display on the monitor

Had to install display link drivers which i knew ahead of time and downloaded after first plugging it in

Using on a minipc and on a surface pro that only has one hdmi output not sure if this would work on devices that only have one output and expressly state that it doesnt support additional external monitors

The adapter works as advertised right out of the box on my second external monitor connected to my hp envy17u177cl laptop after several usb c adapters failed

It comes with the driver on cd but windows10 os installed the driver right after i connected it to the usb a port even before connecting it to the external monitor
