Worked immediately with windows 10 64bit my old one based on an earlier version of the pl2303 chip would not work with windows 10 64bit

The new pc does not have a serial port so i had to go back and forth between the old and new pc

No drivers were needed to be installed separately windows 10 will automatically pull them and install them for you but an internet connection is initially required for this
