Cable converter is electrically great and the driver install is perfect.

Pretty sure it was plug & play, no drivers required.

The mechanical fasteners are the wrong gender, they are threaded standoffs, and no thumb screws to attach the cable securely to the device.

The threaded standoffs had to be removed to allow the cable to mate with the device and now no secure mechanical connection .
