Pros
This updated version of the cable looks better, but not as qualitative. The packaging indicates there's a 3 year warranty, which should be taken as an indication of how sturdy it is. Worth every penny.
Lighted plug is a nice touch as well, making it easy-to-use at night. Green light on the end is nice to let us know for sure it's plugged in and charging.
The metal connector has a good heft to it. The braided cable is thick. The cable has a molded-on rubber cable tie/storage cinch that works well.
Cons
The cord does bad job charging the phone. It will play music for about 10 seconds then it disconnects. Too late for refund unfortunately.
