I had a 3ft one at work that was basically fixated to the same spot for over a year not roughly handled or anything a few weeks ago it was too loose and id have to jiggle it around in the phone to get it to charge and id always get usb device not recognized so i couldnt access files off of it anymore

It would constantly flicker from charging to non charging

I know not all necessarily relevant to these specifically but i chalked up all those casualties as normal wear and tear since i had them for awhile the one at work that was gingerly used and not really moved at all shouldnt have worn so badly thoughanyway i bought this 2pack of 3ft cables to replace some of the old casualties

The one i brought to my office is a really nice and snug fit again unlike the one it replaced but it only really works plugged in one way

I had it plugged in for a few hours and noticed my phone wasnt charging at all then reversed it and it works fine

I kept plugging it in at other times not thinking about the direction because it shouldnt matter still only charges plugged in one way

Its inconvenient and what i would consider a defective product
