I will edit this review if anything fails to function in the future, but so far this seems like a first class product.
Packaging/appearance
5 hrs operating time on their packaging.
It's rechargeable, and in fact, you should charge it right out of the box.
Competitiveness
It's made mostly of plastic, but generally well made as compared to the competition.
You can plug a microusb cord into it and there is the red/green charging indicator.
It takes 3 x aaa batteries (not included) or it comes with a rechargeable pack that you plug in a mini-usb cable to to charge.

Tilting the light is possible and it is held in place through friction but i can see that over time the tilting holds may wear down and it may start flopping

The problem though is that you have to crack open the case and take out the battery as there are no ports available from the outside

There is a red light as well that i like to use when camping as it does not ruin your night vision
