Pros

It's nicely bottom-heavy which keeps it from tipping-over accidentally. It goes where you go with no heaviness or large object to hold. The hooks seems a bit flimsy, but hasn't been an issue thus far.

Ust 30 day duro has adequate light for a 10'-12' radius. Beats the heck out of using kerosene lamps during power outages. This lamp is a really good portable lamp.

Brightest setting is extremely bright, middle setting is bright enough for most campground tasks. Lowest setting isn't bad for having as a beacon or illuminating much smaller spaces. It has 3 brightness levels.

The lantern seems pretty rugged, i chose this one over the reportedly more rugged siege because i don't need to be worrying about when i last changed the batteries. My only complaint is that it uses larger batteries that aren't as common to recharge. ... Read More

Removing the diffuser and hanging the lantern by the hold-out hook lights up the campsite very well. Went camping this weekend fri-sun (72 hrs) it helps that we have a gas hot water heater.

Cons

Amazon won't let me return it since it was purchased a year ago. The battery is dead out of the box.

Description says 700 lumen. Illumination lasts for 2 hrs per instructions, so its not great for next to bed late night help.

Power was out for almost 2 weeks, this light worked every night for 2 weeks, luckily i charged it from the last camping trip.

Price

I did think it was a bit expensive.

I was pleasantly surprised to find it on amazon for about half of their estimated price, and the reviews looked good, so i ordered one.
