Pros

These are the loudest (normal) whistles i've ever heard in my life. They are exactly as pictured. Packaging states it meets uscg/solas/iso 12402-8 requirements.

The whistle works perfectly. Need to get a fe more for stocking stuffers.

Cons

They are inexpensive enough that sending them back isn't worth the trouble. The flaw seems to be in the plastic construction. This makes them pretty useless out on the water!

If i blow incredibly hard it makes a faint, airy wheezing sound. It requires all the breath you have to deliver about half the volume of a regular referee whistle. Just require way too much blowing to product sound.

Having a whistle on you in the water can save your life, and for the price you cannot go wrong.

For the price, though, and the fact that it was the whistles and not the other stuff that's important .

These are a good product at a good price.
