Pros

The dial goes from off to 5, and it heats up quickly. The cast iron material ensures even heat distribution. Heats up quickly and holds a constant temp relative to the control setting.

Stainless steel base not only adds a sleek touch but also ensures easy cleaning after each use. Easy to use. Its easy to clean aswell. They're nice to have very, very informational and educational for the children.

Compact design that doesn't hog much space in my kitchen. Can fit on top of cabinets or slide into tight spaces in camper. Perfect size for use in an rv with limited counter space.

Cons

The top of this hot plate is stainless steel. If you’re using the cooktop on 4 or 5 (like to you know boil things) it just cycles off and on. This is not goin to work out.
