But since the clamping bar is across the entire length of the unit and it uses relatively wide countersunk screws the clamping bar raises high enough that for many common one piece scope mounts or qd magnifier mounts the mount and clamping bar collide and it wont fit

Id suggest downsizing to a t10 instead of a t15 sized head and possibly using a counterbore instead of countersink screws
