And it can be set to turn on the light when the hand is put in and turn off the back light when the hand is off

The cord is pretty short but you could make do with an extension cord

This model feels much lighter in weight and the bottom piece keeps falling off whenever i move the lamp

The previous model i had of the same brand felt thicker in plastic and the bottom piece stayed on
