I'm using it to adapt 1/2" sockets to 1/4" drive inch pound torque wrench and it works great.

I coupled this with a 0-80 inch pound beam style torque wrench to verify preload during a pinion seal change.

Torque wrench is 1/4” and the socket size is 1 1/8” in a 1/2 drive.

It's for torquing a top mount oil filter housing which has a large fitting (27mm) but requires low torque.
