I have a very large and complete tool set can do most any mechanical work but i recently had a repair job where the philips head screws that i needed to remove were deeply recessed and although i had some long philips drivers they would not fit into the deep holes because their shank was too large in diameter

Im not sure how often ill need this specific tool but it was worth the price to be able to do this one specific repair
