The center hole of the actual ferrite is 15mm and is prefect. Once the hole is enlarged, they work fine. If you are using a dro on a lathe or mill and are having problems with inconsistent readouts try some of these.

The center hole of the plastic cover which holds the ferrite in place is smaller than 15 mm and needs to be enlarged to fit over lmr 600

His ham transmitter and antenna were very close to the computer and when he would transmit the screen would get a bunch of pattern lines on it the keyboard and mouse would not work and lots of noise coming out of the speakers

Not just a little better or thats good enough

I normally use satellite radio so did not realize how much rf interference they produce until i used fm
