The bracelet version has its log holes too close to the case so you cant put a regular spring bar in it and pass the strap even the thinnest nylon strap through the opening

I needed these to install a nylon strap on a casio dw290 tom cruse wore in mission impossible the straight ones don’t allow enough space for the strap to fit under

Some watches don’t give enough space to change the strap to a different leather or fabric strap
