The 3000 looses it's grit immediately. Upon touching the surface with the chisel, the aggregated appears to have been scraped down to the substrate. It then scores a permanent sharp canyon in the plate and a corresponding gouge in the tool.

Excellent for fine sharpning finish on lathe tools and chisels.
Most diamond wheels like this are double sided, thats the only reason for the 4 stars.
Even know this product is made in china , it is exactly what you expect to get.
It is super thin, you will want a backing plate when using it on a grinder, also it's not double sided.
Price
Then again it only cost 1/10 the price.
It's a good product with a good price and i'd buy it again.
