Direct replacement, did exactly what i needed it to do when my steering lock motor was faulty.
The motor was an exact replacement and worked perfectly.
Had they failed while the steering wheel is unlocked the esl could be removed separately from the column when installed.
I have done a few here at the garage i work at so far all of them have failed in the lock position so column have to be removed every time.

Turned a 900 dollar dealer-only fix into a ,$300 alternative for my customer which was also profitable for me!
