These are a surface mount type micro usb socket

Its definitely not easy to solder it to a board unless you are experienced in this type of soldering and have the proper soldering equipment you will need to place the socket and clamp it in place to solder it if youre going to do it manually

To solder the sides to secure the socket be sure to tin the socket first and the pad it will lay on

After several attempts i scrapped the original headphone amplifier and bought a new one with better ratings

They were a pain to install on the board but i think it was do to the fact that it was my first jack change and the person ripped the original jack off
