The writing is amazing and the illustrations are pure unadulterated art. The art although grotesque at times is absolutely stunningly beautiful. The artwork is phenomenal and the story is just as gripping!

Uzumaki is a story about some teens who have trouble escaping not only their cursed town, but the spiral itself. Ito constructs his own world of a lovecraftian-type of horror.

It has a weird way of draining you while also drawing you in.

This hardcover volume of uzumaki is gorgeous. This book is attention grabbing while still being simple and memorable. Looks perfect on my shelf, too lmao.

There are many great moments throughout. Snail people. Intriguing plot. If i had one gripe, it’d be that the * seemed raised a little. As the reader discovers the extent of what is happening.

The plot makes the whole endeavor really pointless. It feels like a * ton of empty set ups with no payoffs. Would not recommend purely based on the plot.
