Pros & Cons
Pros
The simplex locking system is very easy with great instructions how to unlock, lock, and change the default code. After setting up, the unlock is flawless and seems fast. The simplex lock works great and provides very quick access.
The ability to program multi-button sequences in your combo allows you to enter your combo with fewer key strokes. Only gripe is the dial knob to unlock is plastic instead of a more sturdy material.
This is a legit safe. It'll deter a would be thief from carrying it.
Strong and sturdy. No hiccups, no issues, very sturdy and reliable. It's heavier than i thought it would be.
The lock works great and fits my glock 19 with plenty of space. It holds my glock 45 with a few extra mags and an extra box of ammo. I have one large * with a light and one small * in a holster; and they both fit inside fine.
Cons
The case is too thin for a standard size * without forceably compressing the foam padding. The lock is mushy and doesn't give one a good feeling about a positive lock. Just a pita type situation and not practical for a gun case.
Tried pushing each button and then rotating knob to left to reset. If the alignment wasn't right, chances are it's just a defective product. Customer support is non-existant.
Highlights
Quality
The build quality is excellent and the box weights a lot more than you might expect.
For size, quality, and cost, this is a bargain and will help keep your gun or valuables safe.
The quality you could expect from a product manufactured in the us.
I'm impressed with the simplex lock and like that my american made firearm is secured in a american made safe.
Packaging/appearance
Good squeeze on all the contents from the included thick foam on lid and bottom already included.
Competitiveness
I have a p320 m18 and a p365 with an extra mag for each and there’s room to spare.
Solid design and made in the usa.
However, it's a minor feature, and not enough to make this a 4-star review.
It has pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the case to allow for mounting.

The other issue is the mounting plate which when mounting on the wall is designed for the lid to open upwards which is awkward

Providing all square mounting holes in the bottom of the vault box rather than 2 round ones and 2 square ones would solve the issue

The vault is not all that suitable for carrying anyway because it does not have a handle nor a loop to secure with a cable lock

Minor cosmetic comment is that when mounting on the wall so the lid opens downwards the logo is upside down

God forbid it ever happens but i think the overlapping steel would be good protection against an incidental discharge from within the case

It comes with holes on the bottom so you can bolt it in place
