Pros & Cons
Pros
The audio quality is very good, with a good amount of detail retrieval on the top end but these are not harsh or sibilant. The bass response, even classical chamber music sounds quite good. The battery life is pretty solid, the build quality is superb... Read More
Cons
V-moda crossfade 2 codex edition headphones have some sort issue. There seems to be a durability issue. Bass is almost nonexistent and highs simply do not hit the mark. A disappointing purchase.
Highlights
Quality
Great headphones, each sound is clear and distinct, even at high volumes.
The fit and sound quality is by far the best i’ve encountered.
There’s plenty of manufactures with headphones sporting excessive, muddy base, muffled mids and blurred highs.
Done this many a time and even some of the best headphones did not hold up well.
Price
Enough said - best headphones ever - for price range.
Second, at this price i would expect an active noise cancelation option.
A newer version would need to have usb c and 30 hour battery life to justify 300 dollar price tag.
This is a very good headphone if it had a price point of 200 dollars.
Packaging/appearance

These headphones come in a really nice box.
I never expected to be able to pack high quality over-ear headphones this small.
The packaging is a lot smaller than another pair that i have.
Competitiveness
