Pros & Cons
Pros
Sound is where this product really shines. The sound is very clean, not grainy at all. These are highly functional, versatile, and sound great.
I'm no audiophile but these have fantastic sound and they stay in my ear. I’m not sure about the durability but my previous v-mod ear buds lasted a long time. I have audiophile tendencies and these are, by far, the best ear buds i've heard.
They are detailed without being too sibilant. Excellent tonal balance and clarity. Nothing is hidden or over present. It still freaks me out.
They come with four sets of different size silicone tips/pads. The tips and fins are soft silicone and are very comfortable. The ‘fins’ are great for keeping these in place even while crossing rough terrain.
Cons
These are very bad for exercising. The cord is one of those that carries noise, so you hear it amplified every time it brushes against your chest. After 4 months of usage there is a bend near where 1/8 plugs in to headphone jack on my phone. The audio... Read More

Sound quality can be very good: when using with a good dac/amp, these earbuds offer balanced sound with lots of detail and clarity.
Unfortunately within 4 months one pair already has sound issues.
I have been a v-moda fan for a while and judging by this product especially, i feel they only make products they themselves would use.
Price
For the price, these sound really fantastic.
I’d say these earbuds met my expectations for their price point and the customer service was great too.
I was able to snag these on sale for $5 to have a latency free pair for my laptop.
These are normally trying to sell at like $170 and there's no way.
Shipping
V-moda shipped out a brand-new pair of earphones (new in box) the same day they received my defective pair.
Update may 2017: my warranty was handled quickly and efficiently.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging is amazing, very nicely designed.
It's clear that a lot of time and effort has gone into the design of these - the presentation of the hexagonal packaging is awesome.
The product info doesn’t show that these basically come in an almost coffin shaped box looking like headphones for vampires, wh... Read More
Upon first receiving the package, i saw that they had a pretty cool case with a viewing screen.
Competitiveness
I would even have gotten another pair of bose headphones but, these v-moda forza metallo headphones have a nice sturdy cable, w... Read More
I did a comparison using live recorded music, and found the clearest definition with the v-moda in ear headphones.
These headphones are now less than $10 because the headphone manufacturers are now focusing nearly exclusively on wireless headphones.
Also v-moda is the only brand i have heard of to do this.

These do have a tendency to sound a bit harsh in the treble region regardless of the device used
