Pros & Cons
Pros
The m-200 is more tuned toward professional sound engineers and audiophiles than they are toward general consumer preferences. The sound is rich throughout the range, from bass to treble. Basslines sound fantastic, especially when they are prominent i... Read More
The feel and sound reproduction is something that you can immerse yourself into. These headphones are about reproducing the sound as it was recorded. While they arent throbbing or booming they provide a very detailed and accurate representation of mix... Read More
The headphones come packaged, and folded compactly in a very nice hard case. The case is sturdy, small and protective. They ship with a really nice, hardshell / clamshell style carry case.
The m-200 has a metal headband encased in faux leather and padded on the contact side. The muffs are on mounted on steel bands that pull out of the headband with ratcheting action. I wish they applied the same customization to their ear cuffs like the... Read More
Cons
The ear cups on the headphones are way too small for anyone other than a child and they hurt to wear for longer than an hour or two. The sound quality is sub par for what you pay. Durability 1 out of 5.
V-moda's customer service is non-existent. The xl cushions sold by v-moda are not compatible with this product. I wish i could give this headset a higher review, but because of v- moda's lack of support they are awful.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is superb so the bruise to my pocket wont ache for too long.
Its simple to say the build quality is top notch.
While sound quality is excellent generally, acoustic characteristics are not optimized for pleasurable listening.
You should go with the crossfade 2 codex edition.
Price
What difference a high end, but not so high end price, headphone makes!
Shipping
The process was easy, fast, and painless.
Packaging/appearance
You can immediately see, and feel the quality to include the packaging.
All their headphones are made of metal and synthetic leather, with a little bit of synthetic fabric inside the earcups.
I don’t know how long the faux leather will last on the earpads.
Competitiveness
In addition to the m-200 that i am reviewing now, i have a v-moda crossfade 2 codex edition, which are one of my “fun-sounding”... Read More
Build quality: like all vmoda products, they are build like tanks and can take beatings that very few headphones can even come close to.
I dont feel as if 350 is worth it, 300 would be more reasonable considering that they dont have any features that separate the... Read More
If you are a basshead, these are not the headphones for you.

These headphones give a decent amount of noise isolation but not nearly as much as with my seinhauser gsp 600s

That would make them great for travel but without active noise cancelling or superior passive noise isolation they’re probably not the best choice for air travel
