Pros

Easy to attach and replace. Easy install. They are a little tricky to install.

These are a must have upgrade for any crossfade. Much better feel on the ol' dome than the original headphone pads that came with the v-moda crossfades. It's too bad that these aren't the default pads, but they are an absolute must have.

They're small and clamp your ears. They're bigger and don't compress my ears as much. Even after nonstop wearing of up to 3 hours of playing videogames!

The m-100 are probably the best sounding and most durable headphones i have ever owned. They have a wider soundstage and no decrease in bass response. The sound field opens up alot and the low end seems better as well.

Xls have a larger cup, are deeper (though you might not notice just by looking) and are firmer. They’re not as plush as the original cups but that’s a good thing because if they were then they’d squash the drivers back against my ears again. The insid... Read More

The ear pad appears to be cheaply made, have holes with foam sticking out, and strange stitching. The plastic lip arou around the edge is cut too large to fit onto the headphones.

Competitiveness

I highly recommend this product along with all of the other v-moda products available.

If you are lucky-enough to own a pair of v-moda crossfade lps or m-100s, i highly recommend these upgraded xl ear pads for them.

I don't know why these aren't the standard, v-moda.

I wish v-moda made these the default earpads rather than making them an optional/additional premium on their customers.
