Pros

The vacuuming itself is incredibly easy. The only complaint is that sometimes the vibration of the machine will kick the bag out of the heat bar and it won’t seal.

Food saver format has a lot of prep. The slightly sloped vacuum chamber makes packaging liquids, like soups and stocks, easy. The vacmaster is more versatile than food saver type sealer.

My entire pantry is full of vacuum packed, canning jars of various sizes from tiny ones for spices, to giant ones for things like flour and rice. These are much more expensive thancanning jars but it’s nice to have a couple for big items like leftover... Read More

Largest freestanding appliance in my kitchen. It's heavier than a microwave.

I can count on the machine chugging to life and doing a great job. The only other cautionary note is that one has to be sure one has the counter space and overhead clearance needed for the machine.

This unit lives in my motor home, and i am using it to vacuum pack salmon and halibut prior to freezing and airfreight shipment.

We did send reply e-mails to the seller and manufacturer notifying them of this but have not heard back from them.

Purchased this directly from the company at the end of november since they had a 20% off sale and free shipping.

Packaging/appearance

Once packed -- the popcorn is fresh and delicious every time i open a bag!

Just unpacked the unit and followed instructions for set up and it won’t seal !

This machine excels at vacuum packaging foods for the freezer and fridge as other reviewers have said so i won't go into that.

Competitiveness

This is so much better than the ones you can buy at the department stores etc.

The chamber sealers are a superior product over the vacuum sealers.

I have used chamber vacuum sealers in professional kitchens for years, and there simply is no comparison.

Other brands you have to wait for a cool down time as those machines over heat.
