Bought this for my phoenix arms hp22. No dings about the lack of space for an optic. Perfect fit for my handgun. Definitely recommend for any 9mm *.
The metal belt clip seems strong and not likely to allow the holster to fall off. The snap fastener is solid and can be opened when needed. Clip is more secure that competition. Very sturdy stitching on high ballistic nylon material.
Cons
The piece that attaches the belt clip is very loose. There wasn't a clip included in my purchase.

I prefer to use it in waistband because its way more comfortable and also because when i have its outside the waistband it really loose and wobbly and has fallen off a few times but hey you get what pay for
