The only other similar machine with which i have experience is the foodsaver professional model which of course is not intended for anything other than home use despite its rather pretentious name

Of course i cant use the ico machine that long and make a really fair comparison what i want to emphasize is that this review cannot address the longevitydurability issue which to me is of primary importance

The specific features that define a vacuum sealing machine are right there in the item description how well it sucks and how well it seals

At least in englishspeaking american lingo the claim that something really sucks is generally taken as a rather disparaging remark but for a vacuum sealer or vacuum cleaner for that matter it should be seen as a compliment
