Excellent addition to the yaesu radio if you plan to have program several channels

This radio is experimental with chirp and it crashed while editing the memory channels.

The old cable apparently had one of the fake prolific pl-2303 chips which won't work with the updated windows prolific drivers.

It was a little pricier than i wanted, but i knew it would work.

I am hesitant to pay for the rt systems programming software because i don't know if it will work with a non-rt cable.
